Gumamela flowers are commonly found in the backyards of houses here in the Philippines. It comes in different colors. This one is a red Gumamela. It is so attractive but you have to take a quick shot of it because after several minutes it will wither especially if it is under the heat of the sun.
Children before use Gumamela flowers in making bubbles. This flower produce a sticky enzyme that is very useful in making big bubbles. All you have to do is pound the flower's leaves and petals then mix it with water and laundry soap. And then you're kids will enjoy bubbles that are bigger and lasting.
Gumamela flowers are simply beautiful to look at.
